Proper dental care to whiten your teeth without going to the dentist. I can not afford to have my teeth whiten by a dentist. However, I would still like to have whiter teeth. I would like to know if baking soda really works to whiten your teeth? If so how often can you use it. Will using baking soda give you bad breath. I think I read something that said it would. Please advise
Pennsylvania Dental, How can you whiten your teeth at home? I have dental insurance benefits from my job but it does not offer benefits for teeth whitening treatments. I have really stained up teeth and I really want to have better looking teeth. Is there any low cost way to whiten your teeth at home?
I live in New York and I have this friend that is not quite so smart as he thinks he is. He though that if he got whitening strips that whiten your teeth in seven days that if double the amount of time he was to keep them on he would whiten his teeth even faster. Now his teeth really hurt and he says it hurts to any thing hot and cold. He worried now he made have messed up his teeth. Will his teeth go back to normal over time or should he see a dentist about what he did?
My teeth have stains on them and I really want them to be whiten and have the stains removed. I am a non smoker but I do drink coffee and tea so I am not sure if that is why my teeth are not so white as they should be. I use toothpaste with whitening but it does not seem to really work for me.
I have dental insurance but I was told that they will not cover for teeth whitening treatment. So I can not have my teeth whiten by a dentist and do not know how to whiten my teeth for a low cost
My teeth are white but they are not as white as I would like them to be. I want to know how it is that people on TV or whatever have these really brilliantly white teeth and no matter what I use my teeth does not seem as white as everyone else’s. Looking for a really good way to whiten my teeth would really love to hear some good suggestions.
I have been a part time smoker. I do not smoke but about a pack a month which at the time I really did not think was all that bad. I quite and have stop smoking now for a year. My teeth are not as white as I would like them but my dental insurance will not cover whitening treatments from a dentist. What is the best brand of whitening strips that work the best.?
I have a friend that has very yellow teeth. The thing is she wants to go out and buy dental strips to whiten her teeth with but I told her she should see a dentist for a basic cleaning first. My thinking is she has not been in a while and I know she must have tartar build up.
Will whitening her teeth with strips leave spots if the tartar is not removed first. That is want I told her but really not sure. I just think she needs to get to a dentist but I would like to know if I am right or not.
hello, I am looking to whiten my teeth but not sure what to use. I do not want to do any fake home remedies that will mess up my teeth in the end. I was thinking about using whitening strips but then I hear that they can make your teeth really sensitive. Is that true?
The I though I would just save up my money and have the dentist whiten my teeth and have it done better but I also heard that whitening your teeth can cause gum recession not sure if that is true either. I would really much like to make my teeth look nice but not cause major damage in the process. What is my options.
I have a wedding that I need to go to and I am in the wedding party. There will be tons of picture but I really do not like smiling in photos because my teeth look so dark in them. My teeth are not really bad just not nice and really white. But in photos they look dark and grayish. I really do not want my teeth to look that way in my friend wedding photos.
If I get the whiten strips that say they will whiten your teeth in five days do they really work? Or is it really just a little whiter? I never used whiting strips and my friend told me just to have it done by my dentist but that would cost me $100.00 and she not paying for it. Advise please.
I have dental insurance but it does not pay out for teeth whitening. I have sorta white teeth but I want my teeth really white. I would like it done fast so that I can see the difference right away. I was looking at your dental discount plans and they say they will give you discounted saving of dental services. Does that including whitening treatments?
I would also like to know how long should I wait before putting on the whitening strip after brushing my teeth? Can you offer any helpful advise on keeping my teeth white so that I do not have to use whitening strips to offten.
I had slightly yellowish teeth. So I went out and got crest whiten strips to help make them whiter. However now my teeth are really sensitive after only two treatments. Is that normal? Or should I stop using them? I have to do it for a week so the box says but I did not think it would make my teeth so sensitive.
So my teeth are yellowish. I am not sure why they are not white I brush two times a day and I do not drink a lot of soda or any coffee. I really upset me that my teeth are not white like I think they should be. I do not have the money to get they whiten at the dentist.
I am not sure about using a whiten strip product since I do not think my mom would like me doing that. I asked her once and she said I did not need to do that to my teeth. But I do because my friends point my yellow teeth out to me. How can I cheaply whiten my teeth and make them look better?

As far as over the counter whiting strips what would you say is the best one. I am looking to whitening my teeth and though I would use the whiten strips that they have at Rite Aide. What would be the best ones to get. I want something that really works with minimal work for me.
I have dental insurance however my dental insurance will not cover teeth whiten treatment. I have coffee stains over the years and my teeth are not as white as I may like. I was wondering if a dental discount plan will help me for my teeth whiten treatments? I want to have my teeth whiten by dentist since the strips you can buy over the counter never really worked for me. However I need to have some help with the cost of whitening treatment. Will a discount plan work for me?
A few years ago I had some problems with my front top two teeth. The dentist did a dental bonding inorder to fix them. He fixed the teeth but the color of the bonding was off an now those teeth are darker then my other teeth. It really looks bad to me. Can I whiten them up with whiten strips or something?
I had my teeth whiten at the dentist a little over a year ago. I am a light smoker but have been tyring to quit and only smoke once or twice a week which compared to what I use to do almost a pack every two to three days I have made really good progress.
My question is that although my teeth are still white they are not as white as they use to be when I first had the whitening treatment done. Should I go back to the dentist to have them re whiten or wait until I am able to fully quit smoking altogether. Which I am weening off and hope to be done with smoking in another few months. What would be best?
My questions is this: I know most dental insurance do not cover for teeth whitening. However what I would like to know is if you only want teeth whiten dose the dentist still have to take X-rays and do cleaning first? I do not want to have to pay for those things too on top of having to pay for the whitening. Can a dentist only do the teeth whiting treatment without anything eles be done?
Right now I am so upset I can spit. My husband went to the dentist for his six months appointment today. When he was at the dentist the dentist assistant started telling my husband that he really should whiten his teeth. His teeth are strong and he has no cavities but they are really stained up. So she started talking it up saying how much better his teeth would look and how much better he would look and so on. Now my husband wants to whiten his teeth.
It is not that I do not want my husband to have nice teeth but here are the facts.
Fact 1: My husband is a chain smoker. His teeth are stained because he is a smoker. Even though I tried to get him to stop many times over he will not.
Fact 2: Our dental insurance does not cover for whitening treatment. So it would cost us out of pocket $189.00
Fact3: I have no problem him getting is teeth whiten if he were to stop smoking so that they just don’t get re-stained. Other wise I feel we are thowing our money out the door.
Because of this dental assistant shooting off her mouth my husband wants to go head with the whiting treatment regardless of the fact that we do not have alot of extra money let alone money to waste. His normal dentist would never had done this. I want to know why a dental assistant would talk about teeth whitening program to a know heavy smoker. (There is no way she could not know that he smokes)
I am really upset because I feel she was out of line and trying to make a buck regardless of the fact that until my husband stops smoking whiten his teeth is pointless. I will do what my husband wants even if he wants to toss money away. I do not like what this dental assistant did and was wondering if there was any point in lodging a complaint.
My good friend had braces for over three years and she getting them off in a week. Right now the part of the teeth you can see are pretty yellow. She brushes but I guess with the braces she could not use anything to whiten her teeth. Now that she is getting her braces off she is worried about her teeth looking all funny and messed up with yellow stains. Can her dentist whiten her teeth once he take off her braces?
